Primary Teacher – Contract position

Primary Teacher – 12 month maximum term contract

Carmichael College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational Christian College situated in Morayfield. The College was established in 2015 and is enjoying steady growth.

The College is seeking applications from Christian teachers to teach Primary students, providing them with an excellent education. In this role you will not only implement effective and inclusive teaching and learning, but you will also provide for the physical, social, spiritual and emotional wellbeing of students. This position is available on a 12 month maximum term contract. In this role you will:

• Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of curriculum and regular monitoring.
• Have a Biblical worldview and integrate biblical principles in teaching and learning.
• Apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs
• Assess students for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
• Undertake playground and other supervision as required.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
• Applicants must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
