We are seeking a passionate, relational, and collaborative educator to join our Middle School team in a Year 7 teaching role for Semester 2, 2026. This opportunity would suit a teacher who is enthusiastic about supporting students during their transition into Middle School and who values strong relationships, engaging learning, and pastoral care.

As part of our Middle School community, you will play an important role in fostering a safe, connected, and Christ-centred environment where students feel known, supported, and encouraged to grow both academically and personally.

There is also the potential for this role to expand from 3 days per week to 4 days per week during the contract period.

Additional Requirements/Information:

As a Middle School Teacher, you will:

•  Teach Year 7 students in alignment with the Australian Curriculum (ACARA)

•  Provide pastoral care and leadership that supports the wellbeing, growth, and engagement of young adolescents

•  Design engaging and purposeful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, participation, and confidence in learning

•  Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success and wellbeing

•  Contribute positively to the wider life and culture of the Middle School team

Essential qualities:

•  Demonstrated passion for working with Middle School students, particularly within the Year 7 age group

•  Ability to create engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environments

•  Strong communication and relational skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork

•  Commitment to supporting the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of students

•  Capacity to integrate Christian faith and values into teaching practice and relationships

•  A sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, the philosophy of Christian Education, and regular church attendance
