Founded in 1983, Swan Christian College is a co-educational Christian school in Swan Valley, educating around 1,600 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Swanonline is a part of SCC that provides the Western Australian curriculum to Year 7-12 students who think differently, challenge the norm, and embrace a future without limits, through online learning.
Swanonline is seeking a dedicated and flexible Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our Online teaching team in a full-time, permanent position commencing 12 October 2026.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrate care and concern for students’ spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth.
- Build strong partnerships through timely, meaningful communication with parents and colleagues.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated learning across online and face-to-face environments.
- Support every learner with targeted extension and remediation, and evidence-based feedback.
- Foster positive student engagement and monitor academic progress with accuracy and care.
- Contribute to the wider College community through events, meetings, and other duties as required.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and is an active member of a Christian Church, living in accordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith and Educational Objectives.
- Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with families, SCEA Head Office staff, and the College community.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, with proven ability to prioritise workloads, show initiative, and take direction as required.
- Current Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) registration and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to apply.
Desirable:

- A demonstrated ability to effectively deliver the WA Mathematics and Science Curriculum.
- Effective organizational skills with regards to lesson planning, marking and reporting requirements.
- Be competent in the use of technology applications in an education setting.
