Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA) is seeking an ICT Service Operations Manager to provide end-to-end ICT leadership across our network of seven Christian schools. This permanent, full-time role, based in Midland, will strengthen trust and capability in ICT support to enable the digital flourishing of staff and students.

In this role, you will establish and lead a consistent, responsive, and school-focused support model that underpins the centre-led operating model for ICT & Digital Services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for ICT support services, driving responsive, customer-focused outcomes through collaboration and accountability.
  • Create a culture of excellence by coaching and developing teams, strengthening accountability, and enabling exceptional service delivery across the organisation.
  • Drive a culture of service reliability and continuous improvement, ensuring efficient support, knowledge sharing, and exceptional end-user experiences.
  • Build strong partnerships across schools, fostering trust, clear communication, and a responsive service focused on meeting stakeholder needs.
  • Support a modern, centre-led ICT operating model by fostering collaboration, enhancing service maturity, and delivering practical improvements that benefit schools.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and is an active member of a Christian Church, living in accordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith and Educational Objectives.
  • Significant experience leading ICT service operations, service desk, or support functions in a multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower technical teams while fostering accountability, high performance, and customer-focused service.
  • Strong understanding of ICT service management principles, with experience driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and operational maturity.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage competing priorities effectively.

Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in a school, education, or mission-driven organisation.
  • Experience implementing or improving tiered support models in a multi-site setting.
  • Familiarity with service desk platforms, knowledge bases, service reporting, and workflow systems.
  • Experience in supporting a centre-led or shared-services operating model.
  • Relevant ICT or service management qualifications, such as ITIL or similar.
