Beechboro Christian School (BCS), a culturally diverse and growing school located in Bennett Springs, is part of the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA). We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Grounds and Maintenance Support Officer to join us in a part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent position commencing 19 October 2026, or as negotiated. Through the care, upkeep, and presentation of the school grounds and facilities, you will cultivate a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment where students, staff, and families can feel valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining school grounds, including gardens, lawns, playgrounds, and outdoor learning spaces.
• Undertaking routine maintenance tasks across buildings and facilities.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or hazards.
• Assisting with set-up and pack-down for school events and activities.
• Supporting the upkeep of furniture, equipment, and outdoor areas.

Essential Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College’s Christian life and aligning with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives.
• Strong attention to detail in all work performed.
• Contribute positively, enthusiastically and safely towards the improvement of work-related systems on school grounds and property.
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety compliance.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team and the wider school community.
• Holds a current Working with Children card, and Department of Education Criminal History Check, or willingness to apply.
