As part of this recruitment drive, we are seeking expressions of interest for the following Part-time position commencing in January 2025.

Secondary School Mathematics Teacher (Middle School): Part-time (0.65 FTE)

We are looking for an outstanding, passionate and inspiring Mathematics Teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching this subject with a focus on middle school.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Have relevant qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents and fellow staff members
  • Experience in implementing the Mathematics curriculum
  • A passion for teaching Mathematics to Secondary School students in an engaging and relevant way

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

You will have:

  • An active Christian faith
  • You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold and support the Ethos and Core Values of the College.
  • You are deeply relational, friendly and open.
  • You are an outstanding teacher in your subject area.
  • You have developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all the students that you teach.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including team-building and mentoring skills.
  • You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well provided for.
  • You are committed to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management.
  • You have an understanding of technology and are able to confidently integrate this into your teaching.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.
  • Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).
  • Current Working With Children Card.
  • Current Police Clearance.

Additional Requirements:

  • The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed.
