Parklands Christian College is seeking passionate Secondary Teachers to join our team at the start of Term 1, 2026.
Available Positions:
Years 7-12: English and Humanities (HASS) Teacher
Years 7-12: Mathematics and Science Teacher
Additional Teaching Area (desirable but not essential):
Arts (Music) as a minor teaching load would be advantageous
Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 46 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, Qld. We are a Christian, co-educational school of almost 1000 students, from Early Learning through to Year 12, with an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire. The core values of Christlikeness encourages the school community to embody the ideals of the Christian gospel in all activities. The ability to absorb and embody this culture of care and acceptance, generosity and grace within a Christian education framework will be a crucial success criterion for the successful applicant.
To be successful, you will have:
QCT Registration (or eligibility).
An active Christian faith.
Ability to work proactively within a cooperative teaching team.
Effective problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Lesson planning, including objectives, and assessments.
Ability to evaluate student work, providing written and verbal feedback.
