School Receptionist & First Aid Officer (1 day/week)

Nowra Christian School is currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our team in 2027, as a:

School Receptionist & First Aid Officer (0.2FTE)

Part-time (1 day/week during term time) school receptionist role including administering First Aid to students.

• Use your administration and first aid skills to make a meaningful impact on student wellbeing every day.
• Join a supportive Christ-centred team where community, care and purpose underpin everything we do.

Selection Criteria

• Strong Christian faith and active membership of a local Protestant church
• 2+ years experience in a fast-paced reception, customer service or administrative role (school or healthcare experience highly desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and active listening
• Works independently and in a team, with initiative, flexibility, confidentiality and respect
• Friendly, calm, courteous and caring under pressure
• Multitasks efficiently, prioritising urgent medical situations over routine admin
• Customer-focused with a “can-do” attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Experience with school management systems (e.g. Compass, SEQTA, Synergetic, TASS, Veracross) or similar client databases

Mandatory Requirements

• Reference from current Protestant church minister
• Current First Aid Certificate or a willingness to complete
• Completion of the school’s online application form
• Current NSW Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
