Established in 2013 through the amalgamation of two neighbouring colleges, Kennedy is now home to approximately 1,250 students and continues to grow as a vibrant and connected community.

About the Role 

Communications and Design Assistant (Assistant Public Relations Officer) – part-time, ongoing

Help us tell a story that matters.

Do you love design, photography, social media and being part of exciting events? Are you a creative and organised communicator who enjoys bringing stories to life?

We are seeking a creative Communications & Design professional who is passionate about using their skills to make an impact and to support the promotion of our vibrant College community through engaging content, marketing materials and event coverage.

Every day, there are stories in our College community worth sharing. In this hands-on role, you will help capture and showcase those stories through compelling design, photography, videography and digital content. From creating social media graphics and publications to photographing major events, no two days are the same.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Team, you will play an important role in developing content, supporting communications initiatives and helping bring the Kennedy story to life. You are a skilled designer and communicator who enjoys uncovering and telling authentic stories. With strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, you build positive relationships across the College and create content that informs, inspires and connects.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the life of the College, capturing and showcasing the Kennedy story while helping shape how our community is seen, experienced, and remembered.

This is an ongoing, part-time position (0.8 FTE).
