About the Role
Glasshouse Christian College is seeking a caring, collaborative and enthusiastic Learning Enhancement Teaching Assistant to join our team.

The Learning Enhancement Teaching Assistant provides direct and timely support to students with disability and students requiring additional assistance with their learning. Working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team and classroom teachers, the successful applicant will support students both within the classroom and through targeted small-group or withdrawal programs.

The role involves assisting with differentiated learning and assessment, supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education Support Plans (ESPs), monitoring student progress and contributing to the wider Learning Enhancement program.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with teachers, families, Advisory Visiting Teachers and allied health professionals to help students engage successfully in their learning and achieve their potential.

About You
The successful applicant will:

• Be a committed Christian who actively supports the Christian ethos, mission and values of Glasshouse Christian College.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting students with disability and additional learning needs.
• Demonstrate an understanding of a range of student disabilities, learning needs and appropriate support strategies.
• Be able to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Learning Enhancement Team to support differentiated teaching, learning and assessment.
• Build positive, respectful and supportive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Be organised and able to maintain accurate observations, records and other documentation relating to student learning and progress.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Be flexible, patient and responsive to the individual needs of students.
• Be willing to contribute positively to the wider Primary, Middle or Senior School team and the broader life of the College.
