Emmanuel Christian Community School a co-educational K-12 institution in Perth’s northern suburbs has been nurturing students since 1982 and now serves over 750 students. We are seeking a motivated, competent and skilled IT Support Officer for a fixed term period. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with the possibility of additional hours during staff leave or peak periods.
· The position will commence April 2026 and conclude in December 2026.
About the role:
The IT Support Officer will be working with the IT Manager to ensure that the school is able to operate its daily operations. The daily function includes full support for students, staff and property. This will involve minor repair and maintenance as required.
The successful applicant will:

- show initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Selection Criteria:
- 1-2 years’ experience in the IT field preferred
- TAFE/Tertiary or equivalent IT qualifications/experience
- Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic audio-visual systems.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including students of all ages, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Advantageous:
- Previous experience working in an educational environment
- Knowledge of school-specific systems (e.g., SEQTA, SchoolPro, MYOB)
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft support credentials
