The Opportunity
Carey Baptist College Forrestdale is currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team on a one year, full time, fixed term contract, commencing in January 2025.
About the Role
- Teach classes using various strategies appropriate to the WA Curriculum and/or Early Learning
- Framework, recognising and providing for individual differences in students.
- Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas.
- Maintain good discipline in the classroom and within wider College settings.
- Maintain records of class attendance.
- Implement effective student management consistent with the College policies.
- Demonstrate care and concern for the spiritual, emotional, social, and academic development of students.
- Communicate information about student wellbeing to relevant pastoral care staff in a timely manner.
- Actively contribute to the wider life of the College including pastoral care, camps and sport.
- Work co-operatively with College Leadership and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the College.
