Bundaberg Christian College (BCC) is a thriving independent school, providing Christ-centred education from Early Learning (15 months) through to Year 12. Established for 30 years in 2026, the College is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a highly organised Operations Administrator – Middle & Senior School to join our team.
About the role
Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Middle & Senior School (Years 7-12), this part-time role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will coordinate teacher relief (covers), manage timetabling and academic reporting, support SET planning, and assist with key school events. This position requires an early morning start and offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a Christ-centred school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily teacher relief and manage cover schedules
- Oversee academic reporting processes and timelines
- Maintain timetables and subject changes across Edval and TASS
- Support SET planning and QCAA compliance
- Assist with key Middle & Senior School events and awards administration.
Selection criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using school systems (e.g., TASS, Edval)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Blue Card.
