TEACHERS’ AIDE

Permanent Full Time (term time only)

– to commence Term 1 2025

Brewarrina Christian School is a new school which opened in February 2023 and will grow through to Year 12. The school is supported by Green Point Christian College a K-12 school of over 1100 students on the NSW Central Coast.

We are looking for an experienced Teacher Aide with the following skills:

·         Previous experience in an education setting would be an advantage.

·         The capacity to make appropriate judgments to ensure student safety and welfare, whilst maintaining a sense of independence.

·         ICT competencies conducive to supporting students with significant learning challenges.

·         The ability to work unsupervised and maintain professionalism under pressure.

·         Foster a support[SB1] ive environment for students by looking after their emotional, physical, cultural, relational and spiritual needs.

·         Knowledge of processes involved in literacy and numeracy skill development.

·         Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait people is an advantage.

Applicants will need to be committed, practising Christians with exemplary skills; be prepared to work under the ethos of the School; have administrative expertise; and an organised disposition.
