Business Manager

Alta-1 QLD is a multi-site, independent, co-educational Special Assistance School educating students in Years 7–12. Alta-1 QLD works with young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education, supporting them in small, relational campus settings where they can feel safe, known, and supported.

Our approach is recovery-focused and trauma-informed, providing wrap-around support that helps each young person rebuild confidence, rediscover identity, and re-engage in learning and life. As a Christian organisation, we believe that every young person is made in the image of God and has inherent and unchanging value, a belief that shapes everything we do. We are committed to fostering safety, wellbeing, and transformation for our students.

We welcome applications from accomplished Business Managers for this critical leadership and hands-on operational role, ensuring the efficient and sustainable management of the College’s finances, resources, and compliance obligations. This is a hands-on role, managing the end-to-end financial processes, including payroll, budgeting, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA who is passionate about Alta-1 QLD’s Christian mission, demonstrating skills and experience in:
