Waverley Christian College (VIC) is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

We are seeking a casual Library Assistant who is willing to travel as needed to either our Wantirna South or Narre Warren South campus. The successful candidate will assist in providing exceptional library services to our College while contributing to the overall efficiency of our library operations. We are also looking for applicants who have a commitment to our College values, and with a demonstrated ability to encourage, educate and equip our students in achieving their personal best.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are highly motivated
  • Can assist students with locating materials and answering inquiries
  • Are sufficiently confident, assertive, and with a good degree of gravitas to positively supervise Primary and Secondary students studying in the library
  • Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
  • Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
