We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.58) Primary Music Coordinator to commence in Term 1, 2025.

We are seeking candidates who have a commitment to our College values and with a demonstrated ability to encourage, educate and equip our students in achieving their personal best.  As the Primary Music Coordinator, you will have a music teaching component to your role (with four periods per fortnight of coordination and a total of ten periods during production years) and also be responsible for the effective and coordinated delivery of the Primary School’s ensemble, music and performing arts programs.

The successful applicant must:

  • Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Be organised with good reporting skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Be able to teach Music and has demonstrated experience coordinating music and performing arts programs.
  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
  • Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
