Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 450 staff across both campuses in 2025.
We’re seeking a caring and qualified Registered Nurse to join our Wantirna South Campus team in a part-time role (0.4 FTE), working Wednesday to Friday, 5 hours per day. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate care and first aid support to students and staff, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
You’ll bring calm professionalism to both everyday health needs and emergency situations, working closely with families, staff, and health professionals to support student wellbeing. As part of our collaborative team, you’ll also support student immunisation programs, maintain first aid supplies and medical records, and assist with staff training in first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.

You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Are a registered nurse with a current Nursing Board (AHPRA) registration
- Have experience working in a school environment (highly regarded)
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgement and the ability to provide effective first aid and health care
- Work collaboratively with staff, students, and families to support health and safety
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
- Are Health and Safety minded
- Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
- Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
