Waverley Christian College is committed to providing best practice support for graduate teachers and teachers who are new to Christian education. Our Graduate Teacher program includes time release, mentoring, equipping for Christian Education and a comprehensive learning program that will help you become an effective classroom practitioner.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
- Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
All potential employees will be required to comply with the College’s Child Safety Code of Conduct, Child Safety Policy, and Student Wellbeing Policy. We have zero tolerance for child abuse. You will be expected to contribute proactively to a culture of child safety at the College.

Applicants are to include a Resume, Letter of Application, Pastoral Reference Letter and complete the screening questions as part of the application process. Applicants will also need to provide a list of three referees.
A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Anaphylaxis Certificate (22578VIC or HLTAID012) are also required prior to starting in the role.
