The Role
The College is seeking a Secondary English Teacher to join the team in a full-time capacity commencing in Term 3, 2026. This role will involve teaching English across Junior and Senior Secondary, with the ability to teach Senior Secondary English viewed favourably.

Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences that support students to achieve their personal best.

All teaching staff at Warwick Christian College are expected to contribute to the full life of the College, including active participation in pastoral care, sport, co-curricular programs and special events.

To be successful, you will:

  • Be passionate about and experienced in teaching English across Junior and/or Senior Secondary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to integrate a Biblical Christian worldview into curriculum.
  • Have the capacity to teach Christian faith lessons as part of the character development program.
  • Be highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Have a passion to see each student succeed.
  • Have a commitment to pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
  • Current First Aid Certificate
