TEACHER AIDE (LOWER PRIMARY)

Warwick Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our lower primary team. This is a full-time role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s learning and development in their vital early learning years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher
• Administration assistance to Teachers as required
• Assist with playground/bus supervision
• Supporting students with their academic learning, individually or within a group
• Assisting in numeracy and literacy programs
• Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member

Successful Applicants must have:

• A minimum Certificate III in Education Support (or similar qualification)
• A current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and families
• A proactive and supportive approach, with the ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills in daily tasks
• Competency with technology – advantageous but not essential
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people, and a commitment to supporting their learning, wellbeing, and success
• A flexible, student-focused mindset, with a commitment to supporting excellence in education
• A Commitment to Christian values and fostering a positive school culture
