Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fulfill the role of Teacher’s Aide in our Learning Support department. Applicants need to be Christians of Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, who are active in their own churches and whole-heartedly subscribe to the School’s Educational Creed (www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/educational-creed/).

The position of Teacher’s Aide (Classroom Support Services) is a position designed to assist all children to participate fully in the life of the school. Teachers’ Aides assist teachers to deliver effective learning experiences to all children in the classroom, in addition to working with individual children in withdrawal settings under the supervision of the teacher.

Essential Criteria

•       Minimum Certificate III in Education Support – Teachers Assistant.

•       Special Education Interest or Experience

•       Genuinely interested in the learning needs of children

•       Comfortable in Junior Secondary school classroom environments

•       Ability to positively engage with students and teachers

•       Experience supporting senior English
