Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed teachers to fulfil the full-time role of Learning Support Teacher (Secondary). Applicants need to be Christians of a Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, who are active in their own churches and whole-heartedly subscribe to the School’s Educational Creed.

This role will suit a qualified and experienced Learning Support Teacher with a passion for working with Secondary School Students (7 – 12). The successful applicant will enjoy working with enthusiastic teachers and teachers’ aides to deliver learning support to students with special needs, within the classroom and through withdrawal, as appropriate. The Learning Support Teacher is responsible for assessing individual student needs, designing and facilitating the implementation of Individual Education Plans, and supporting classroom teachers to assist all students to realise appropriate learning outcomes. The Secondary School Learning Support Teacher supervises funding applications, NCCD data collection and standardised testing. He/she will work closely with Primary Learning Support Teachers and supervise Learning Support Teachers’ Aides in the Secondary School.

Commencement for this position is Monday, 17 January 2022.
