About the Role

Teaching Assistants at Trinity Christian School provide a key service to students requiring extra assistance in their learning journeys. Teaching Assistants support teaching staff deliver specific education to students.

Essential Criteria

• Good understanding of, and commitment to, the mission and philosophy of the School.
•  Ability to show interest in the wellbeing of students as well as their social, spiritual and academic development.
• Ability to support the learning of students as directed by the teaching staff.
• Experience in working with students who require additional educational support.
• Ability to work in a collaborative manner.
• Well-developed organisational skills.
• Sufficient skill in computer literacy to assist student learning.
• First Aid Certificate is desirable.
• Working With Vulnerable People card is essential.
• A Certificate IV in Education Support or similar is preferred.
