We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker, Counsellor or Psychologist to join our professional student wellbeing and support team at Trinity Christian School.

About the Role

As an integral part of the school’s Christian wellbeing and support program you will work with students, families and school staff to enhance safety, recovery, relationships and resilience for our student’s social, emotional and educational wellbeing and support.

In this role you will:

> Provide counselling to students, including students with high level mental health concerns.

> Deliver high level advice and proactivity in the area of supporting learning and teaching to improve student learning outcomes.

> Provide guidance, advice and support to the Director of Student Wellbeing to manage and deliver wellbeing strategies.

> Provide guidance, advice and support to Executive staff in the management of complex issues.

> Build the capability of teachers to work with students with a range of needs and behaviours.

> Balance the delivery of assessments and interventions, and be part of managing complex cases.

You will have a diploma, graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology, social work, counselling or a related field and be eligible for registration with the relevant professional organisation. Experience in an educational setting would be highly regarded.

> Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to relate with compassion, humility, grace, strength and integrity to students, families and staff.
