About the Role
The Out of School Hours Program Coordinator position will support the OOSH Program to build and
maintain positive relationships with children, educators, staff and the wider school community in a manner
that is God honoring and consistent with the School’s vision to provide a Christ-centred education in a
learning community of Love, Nurture and Service. Specifically, within the OOSH Program it will assist with
the smooth running of the OOSH service in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures. The
majority of this role will involve working and engaging directly with children with some administration
time.
The OOSH Assistant Program Coordinator is a senior role and a key connection point for families. It will
perform the Responsible Person role and be a mentor to those in Educator positions. The role reports to
the OOSH Programs Director.
The role is a part-time position, predominately performed in the afternoon following school hours and
may include school holiday periods if a school holiday program is offered. A plan for a before school
program in the near future is currently being reviewed.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role within an OOSH or similar setting.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications.
- Current WWVP Card
- Food safety supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards and Education and Care services
National Law and Regulations - Strong Leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
