TAS Workshop Assistant

Toongabbie Christian College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College in the western suburbs of Sydney. The College is a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church. Our purpose is to provide a Christ-centred education for life and eternity. Toongabbie Christian College seeks to appoint a TAS Workshop Assistant who will:

• Maintain a commitment to a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
• Demonstrate ongoing commitment to the College’s Purpose and Purpose statements
• Commit to a growing understanding of the place of education, teaching and learning from a Biblical Worldview
• Set an example to students, staff and parents/carers in matters of faith and conduct

The Role

• This is a permanent part time role commencing Monday, 2 February 2026. (Start date negotiable.)
• This role will work two days per week, 8.00am – 3.00pm. (Working days negotiable.)
• Stand down during Student Vacation periods. (42 week working year plus 4 weeks annual leave.)
• Employment is in accordance with the current NSW Christian Schools General Staff MEA

Specific Criteria

• Current NSW’s Driver’s Licence
• Experience in carpentry or joinery tools and processes preferable

• Evidence of First Aid credential (HLTAID011) or a commitment to obtain such a credential by the commencement date
