Dean of Students 11-12

Toongabbie Christian College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College in the western suburbs of Sydney. The College is a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church. Our purpose is providing a Christ-centred education for life and eternity.

Toongabbie Christian College seeks to appoint a Dean of Students 11-12 who will:

• Maintain a commitment to a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
• Demonstrate ongoing commitment to the College’s Purpose and Purpose statements
• Commit to a growing understanding of the place of education, teaching and learning from a Biblical Worldview
• Set an example to students, staff and parents/carers in matters of faith and conduct

The Role

• This is a permanent full-time leadership role commencing March – April 2026
• Position of Responsibility Level 3 (PoR 3) in accordance with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff MEA

Specific Criteria

• Relevant teaching qualifications
• Current Teacher Registration in NSW or the ability to obtain such registration
• Deep understanding of student wellbeing in Years 11-12
• In depth knowledge of classroom pedagogy and curriculum

Selection process

• Interviews are set for Tuesday, 3 February 2026 from 11.00am. Candidates must be available in person for the scheduled interviews.
