About the role

The ICT Helpdesk Technician role provides key Level 2 support to resolve second tier help desk enquiries and supports the day-to-day maintenance and running of the School ICT facilities, predominantly at our Mile End Campus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing the second tier of support for staff and students for ICT and in-class AV issues either over the phone or in person.
  • Second level helpdesk support to assist and provide guidance for first level helpdesk staff.
  • Provisioning new accounts and hardware for new staff and students and providing basic training on the use of their device.
  • Coordinate repairs of faulty or damaged equipment that is under warranty or covered by accidental damage policies.

About you

  • Be committed to Christ and Christian education.
  • Certificate III in Information and Communication Technology or equivalent attainment from employment or training background.
  • Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
  • Experience dismantling, repairing and reassembling laptops and desktops.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to prioritise, demonstrate initiative and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks, while working as an effective member of a collaborative team.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Willingness to undertake mandatory child safe training and relevant clearances.
