Founded in 1983, Swan Christian College is a co-educational Christian school in Swan Valley, educating around 1,600 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The College focuses on developing character and academic excellence with Christ-centred education that nurtures the spiritual, academic, emotional, and social growth of every student.

Swan Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our Senior School teaching team. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing 12 October 2026, or as negotiated.

The successful candidate will foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students’ participation, builds confidence, and promote a sustained interest in language learning.

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

  • Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and is an active member of a Christian Church, living in accordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith and Educational Objectives.
  • To be supportive team member of the College’s teaching fraternity.
  • Holds a current Working with Children Check and valid TRBWA registration or willingness to apply for one.

Desirable:

  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.
  • Proven capacity to foster an inclusive classroom and build student confidence in language learning.
  • Experience in teaching ATAR French is preferred, but not essential.
