Ellenbrook Christian College (ECC), a thriving Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 school in Perth’s northeast corridor, provides Christ-centred education that nurtures the spiritual, academic, emotional, and social growth of every student. We are seeking dedicated and faith-driven Teachers to join our expanding Secondary School team from the 1st January 2027. These will be permanent positions of varying FTE.
In this role, you will teach secondary English, Maths, or Science, delivering engaging lessons, supporting student wellbeing, and contributing to the wider life of the College.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Be able to teach one or more; English, Maths, or Science across the secondary phases utilising a sound understanding of the Western Australian curriculum.
- Deliver engaging, faith-based teaching aligned with the SCEA Biblical Foundations Framework.
- Plan, teach and assess using varied strategies, differentiation, and targeted support for all learners.
- Build positive classroom environments with strong management, clear communication, and accurate tracking of student progress.
- Contribute to student wellbeing and pastoral care, supporting their spiritual, academic and personal development.
- Be an active team member – collaborating with staff, engaging in co-curricular activities, and supporting wider College life and policies.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and is an active member of a Christian Church, living in accordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith and Educational Objectives.
- Demonstrated alignment with the National Professional Standards for Teachers, including subject competence supported by evidence (e.g. folios, workbooks, teaching notes).
- Use of diverse, effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies to meet student needs and course objectives.
- Strong communication skills with students and adults, alongside competent use of technology in teaching practice.
- Professional commitment to ethical responsibilities, serving as a role model, and building positive relationships.
- Holds a current Working with Children Check and valid TRBWA registration or willingness to apply for one.
