• We are seeking a Property Services (Maintenance) person to join our small team.

• You’ll assist with the upkeep of our school facilities, building and grounds, ensuring they are

safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for our staff, students, and wider community.

Relocation Assistance

We have developed Relocation Assistance to help new employees moving to Whyalla. This includes

payment of relocation expenses and a relocation allowance paid for the first year of employment.

Accommodation is available at the start of the year while the successful applicant finds their own

home. Conditions of the package will be discussed with the successful applicant.

 

About you

Bring hands-on building/maintenance knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem solving to this

role. You’re confident coordinating tasks, liaising with contractors, and making sure compliance and

standards are upheld across the school.

 

We are looking for someone who:

• Possesses practical expertise of building, maintenance matters and groundskeeping

with consideration of landscaping principles.

• Demonstrates varied maintenance or trade skills to perform a variety of tasks.

• Has experience working in a relevant field and understands the importance of

maintaining safe, compliant facilities.

• Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Is a committed Christian who is active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian

community.

• Holds the required checks and training including a White Card and Driver’s License as outlined

in the Job and Person Specification (or is willing to obtain these prior to commencing).
