ELC Assistant Director

The position  We are excited to announce an opening for a permanent ELC Assistant Director at our Marion Early Learning Centre, starting in Term 4, 2024, with a contract through to the end of 2025 and potential for extension. This role offers flexibility with options for part-time (from 0.5 FTE) or full-time (1.0 FTE) engagement. We welcome applications from qualified Early Childhood Teachers or Diploma-qualified educators who are passionate about fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young learners. • Possess previous experience as a Centre Assistant Director or a position of leadership.
• Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an Early Childhood Tertiary Qualification.
• Be committed to Christ and able to demonstrate active church involvement.
• Be able to supervise the implementation of developmentally appropriate programs for the children, in conjunction with the Teacher and Team Leader respectively for the Early Learning Centre.
• Assist in meeting individual children needs within the spiritual, educational, care and recreational philosophy of the programme.
• Demonstrate excellent professional and interpersonal relationship with children and families.
• Be committed to excellence.
• Provide a Working With Children Check or its replacement or be willing to obtain one.
