Communications Officer

The Opportunity 

Are you a creative storyteller, digital content creator, or marketing enthusiast with a heart for Christian education? We’re looking for a Communications Officer to join our Sunrise Christian School Marketing Team. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, social media or digital marketing and wants to use their skills to connect with and inspire our school and Early Learning Centre (ELC) communities. You’ll work closely with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to craft compelling messages, strengthen our brand presence, and engage parents, students, and the wider community. No two days are the same in this creative role. 

The position is based at our Kings Park Corporate Services office. 

Who We’re Looking For 

We’re seeking a committed Christian who is passionate about storytelling, engagement, and delivering high-quality communication outcomes. To thrive in this role, you will: 

• Be an active Christian, committed to faith and in church fellowship 
• Have strong communication skills, whether in writing or social media 
• Enjoy storytelling, whether through blogs, newsletters, videos, or digital content 
• Have a current driver’s licence 
• Be creative and adaptable, with a willingness to try new ideas 
• Collaborate well with teams and stakeholders across the organisation 
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and complete Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse & Neglect in Education & Care training
