Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College situated in the western suburbs between Brisbane and Ipswich. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. We also cater for families who, though not necessarily Christian themselves, desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children.

All staff at the College are committed followers of Jesus from a variety of denominational backgrounds, selected for their professional competence as well as their sense of calling to the ministry of a Christian School.

We are currently seeking applications for a Secondary Maths Teacher who is enthusiastic, innovative, engaging and will nurture curiosity and creativity within our students.

Requirements include:

• Availability for a term 4 start
• B.Ed and be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Copies of qualifications and academic transcripts
• Copies of Statements of Service
• Accept and uphold the company’s Statement of Faith.
• Be a person of Christian faith and integrity.

Applicants must be:

• an Australian Citizen or
• a permanent resident or
• have an appropriate permit to work in Australia
