Facilities Manager

Staines Memorial College celebrates the rich diverse cultural heritage that forms modern Australia. Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College situated in the western suburbs between Brisbane and Ipswich. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. We also cater for families who, though not necessarily Christian themselves, desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children.

All staff at the College are committed followers of Jesus from a variety of denominational backgrounds, selected for their professional competence as well as their sense of calling to the ministry of a Christian School.

We are currently seeking applications for a full-time Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities:

• The planning and implementation of cost effective and quality facility services at the College including compliance, grounds, maintenance and cleaning.
• Management of the College minor works and refurbishment projects in line with the College Master Plan.
• Senior level interaction and negotiation with service providers, internal stakeholders and CCM Central Office.

Requirements include:

• Diploma of Facilities Management
• High level problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of legal and compliance requirements
• Positive notice Blue Card working with children

Applicants must be:

• an Australian Citizen or
• a permanent resident or
• have an appropriate permit to work in Australia
