Staines Memorial College celebrates the rich diverse cultural heritage that forms modern Australia. Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College situated in the western suburbs between Brisbane and Ipswich. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. We also cater for families who, though not necessarily Christian themselves, desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children. All staff at the College are committed followers of Jesus from a variety of denominational backgrounds, selected for their professional competence as well as their sense of calling to the ministry of a Christian School. We are currently seeking applications for a Secondary English & Humanities Teacher for a 12-month contract starting term 4, 2024. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their subject area and will inspire our students to achieve their best. Requirements include:

• B.Ed and be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Copies of qualifications and academic transcripts
• Copies of Statements of service

• an Australian Citizen or
• a permanent resident or
• have an appropriate permit to work in Australia
