Primary Teacher – Temporary 12 Month Contract Full-Time

Commencing January 20th, 2027

St. Andrew’s Christian School (STACS) is a growing Preparatory to Year 12 coeducational school in a rural setting situated close to Grafton in the beautiful Clarence Valley. The Valley boasts an extensive river system, proximity to pristine beaches, World Heritage Rainforests and beautiful national parks. We are seeking a motivated Christian Primary Teacher to join a supportive and collaborative staff who provide a quality education in the STACS community.

St. Andrew’s Christian School is a well-resourced school which provides quality Christian education for children from both Christian and non-Christian families with proven results in literacy and numeracy and opportunities for a broad range of subjects and experiences.

Key responsibilities and position description:

The School is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Primary Teacher to join STACS in 2027. The successful candidate will be an exceptional educator, who is highly motivated to support STACS to maintain and develop learning and innovation, ensure continued academic achievement and inspire, engage and value every student.

Essential Criteria
• A demonstrated commitment to Christ.
• Be willing to support the Christian ethos and values of the School.
• Subscribe to our Statement of Faith (available on our website).
• A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher.
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students to enhance student knowledge and understanding.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Experience in teaching Primary students.
• Knowledge of curriculum and the ability to deliver effective pedagogy in an innovative and engaging manner.
• Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
