About this Opportunity:

St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Administrator to join our Administration team in Wantirna South. This is a permanent, full-time position for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the arts and exceptional organisational skills. As the Performing Arts Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to support the smooth operation of the performing arts department. Your main duties will include:

  • Coordinating and managing schedules for rehearsals, performances, and other events within the performing arts department
  • Handling administrative tasks such as budget management, purchasing supplies, and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with Instrumental Music Tutors, staff, students and parents, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Supporting the director of performing arts in various capacities to facilitate successful productions
  • Providing general administrative support to the performing arts team as needed

  • Proven experience in arts administration or a related field
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of performing arts industry practices and terminology
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
  • Experience in coordinating events, performances, or productions

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
