The Assistant Registrar assists in the management and administration of student applications and the admissions process, aiming to ensure the College reaches full enrolment.The Assistant Registrar also actively supports the marketing and promotion of St Andrews Christian College. As the first point of contact for prospective families, the Assistant Registrar must demonstrate professionalism, efficiency, and a warm, welcoming approach at all times.
This permanent, full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of the College and support its mission.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Assisting the Registrar in maintaining accurate student records and databases.
- Supporting admissions processes, including managing applications and enrolment documentation.
- Assisting with communication to students, parents, and staff regarding registration and enrolment matters.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to student records.
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to registration and student records management.
- Participating in relevant College events such as open days, information sessions, and registration periods.
- Undertaking other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the College.

Assistant Registrar – Position Description
Acceptance and adherence to the College’s Statement of Belief is an essential condition of employment.
Required Skills:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with student record management systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality regulations
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role within an educational setting is desirable
- A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos and values of the College
