St Philip’s Christian College DALE Young Parents – Wyong, NSW Wellbeing Assistant – Commencing July 2021 – 0.6FTE Temporary St Philip’s Christian College DALE Young Parents Wyong is seeking a temporary part-time, well-qualified and experienced Christian Wellbeing Assistant. The position is based at our Wyong campus and will commence in Term 3 and end in Term 4 2021. Professional Characteristics required to be successful: • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ; • Committed Christian; • An understanding and commitment to the vision and mission of Christian education; • Proven ability to engage students in the learning process both face to face and online; • Proven successful experience working with students with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD. • An understanding of the development of social/emotional skills and how to embed specific strategies within the educative process; • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; • A knowledge and understanding of whole school and individual wellbeing practices; • A NSW Working with Children Check is essential and employment is not able to commence without a current clearance; • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; • High level organisational skills; • Excellent time-management skills, professional presentation and a pleasant manner.
