Wellbeing Teacher 

Snowy Mountains Christian School (SMCS) is a coeducational K-10 school. It is located in Cooma which has a rich history of engineering and culture due to the Snowy-Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme and is just over one hour from the NSW Ski Fields, the Sapphire Coast and Canberra.

SMCS is a ministry of Cooma Baptist Church providing an excellent Christ-focused education to the Snowy-Monaro Region for over 25 years.

The Role 
We are currently seeking a Primary Teacher (Part-Time or Full-Time) with an interest in Student Wellbeing and Welfare to start Term 4, 2024 or Term 1, 2025.

Applicants must be a Christian who is an active member of a Bible-believing Church and should be someone with:
-5+ years’ experience
-Interest in student wellbeing and welfare. Applicable qualifications in this area may be an advantage.
-Recognised and appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience, including NSW teacher accreditation.
-Dedication to delivering an excellent Christian curriculum
-A heart for Mission
-Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
-Effective organisational and management skills and competent use of ICT in classroom practice
-Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
