We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Deputy Head of Secondary to commence Term 1, 2025. ABOUT THE ROLE ·         The Deputy Head of Secondary will report directly to the Head of Secondary and work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team. ·         The role will support the Head of Secondary primarily in daily organisational and operational aspects of the Secondary department. ·         Other aspects of the role may be negotiated to suit the particular strengths of the successful candidate. ·         The Deputy Head of Secondary would be expected to act as Head of Secondary when required. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA ·         A committed Christian who will provide opportunities for students to develop an understanding of the Christian faith and grow up into Christ. ·         Commitment to the implementation of the School’s Vision and Values. ·         The ability to set an example to students, staff and parents in matters of faith and conduct. ·         Demonstrate a continually growing understanding of the place of education, and of teaching and learning within a Biblical Worldview. ·         Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams. ·         Highly competent ICT skills, preferably in a Microsoft Windows environment. ·         Well-developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
