We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following positions:
Part-Time: Education Assistant (1-2 days per week)
Start date: 1 January 2026
We are looking for an outstanding and passionate Education Assistant to work in an Early Childhood classroom for one day or two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays):
Key Responsibilities:
- competently and capably assist young students within the classroom and outdoor Early Learning environment to meet their learning goals
- collaborate with teachers and other education assistants to provide an excellent education for all students
- work with students in small groups to enhance their learning and understanding of the curriculum
- demonstrate high levels of competency, creativity and initiative in lesson task preparation, tidying up and packing away and record-keeping where appropriate
- demonstrate knowledge of and a commitment to Protective Behaviours/Child Protection education and care practices that ensure a child-safe learning environment
- demonstrate excellent written and oral English communication skills
- demonstrate proactivity, adaptability, punctuality and reliability
- establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents and other staff
The successful applicant must have:
- an active Christian faith
- a Cert 3 or 4 Education Support Qualification or equivalent
- a passion for supporting young students in an engaging and relevant way
- the capacity to work harmoniously in a team

Additional Requirements:
- The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
- You hold a current Working with Children Card.
- You hold a current Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months)
