We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Part-Time position (0.81 FTE) commencing in January 2026.

Part-Time (0.81 FTE) Secondary School 

Applied Technologies Teacher 

Eco-Tech – Year 7 & 8

Children, family and Community – Year 11 & 12

Food Technology – Year 9

We are seeking an outstanding, passionate, and inspiring Applied Technologies Teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching these subjects.

The successful applicant must have:

relevant qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents and fellow staff members
experience in implementing the curriculum
a passion for teaching the above Technologies to Secondary School students in an engaging and relevant way

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

You will have:

  • an active Christian faith
  • exemplary teaching support practice, with qualifications and experience in teaching these subjects,
  • developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all the students that you teach.
  • comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards
  • a commitment to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management.
  • a solid understanding of technology and can confidently integrate it into your teaching.

Personal Qualities:

  • You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values.
  • You are deeply relational, friendly and open.
  • You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well-supported.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be utilised effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  • You can demonstrate effective planning, organisational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.
  • Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).
  • Current Working With Children Card.
  • Current Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months)

Additional Requirements:

  • The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals’ Child Safe Modules if they have not already done so.
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
