We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following short-term and part-time position.
Secondary Visual Arts Technician (Maternity Leave Cover) – Part-Time (2 days p/week)
Contract Period: 16 June 2025 – 12 December 2025
The role of the Visual Arts Technician is to provide support and assistance to staff and students within the Visual Arts Department. The successful applicant will contribute to the Visual Arts team through the provision of technical expertise and operational support.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Professional artistic practice, studies or experience in the Visual Arts or Design industry
- Capability to organise, plan and implement efficient work practices across all areas of the Visual Arts Department
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and collaboratively, as part of a team
- Technical capability in a range of art-related activities, including the framing of artworks, managing ceramics processes, including kiln operation, installation of art exhibitions, managing and maintaining equipment and materials
- Administrative capability, including computer proficiency, organisational skills, purchase order records, MSDS/OHS records
- An active Christian faith
- The capacity to work well within a team

- You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold and support the Ethos and Core Values of the College.
- You have the required qualifications and/or experience mentioned above
- You are prepared to go the extra mile to prepare for College events
Additional Requirements:
- The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principles Child Safe Modules
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
- Current Working with Children Card
- Current Police Clearance
- Hold a current driver’s license
