Part-Time Marketing Officer (0.6 FTE) | Maternity Leave Cover
Short-term contract: 12 October 2026 – 22 October 2027
We are looking for a creative, results-oriented Marketing Officer to work alongside the Senior Marketing Officer in the College’s marketing. The successful applicant will have a background in digital marketing and content creation. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.

Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational K–12 Christian College of approximately 1,150 students, located in Southern River.

Personal Qualities:
- You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values.
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, tools and digital platforms, with the ability to apply these effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff and other stakeholders.
- Highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent time-management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and initiative, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
In consultation with the Senior Marketing Officer, applicants will be required to:
- Develop, create and edit high-quality written and digital communications, including correspondence, media releases, articles, announcements, presentations and promotional content, in collaboration with the College Executive.
- Coordinate and produce a range of print and digital publications, including newsletters, digital magazines, reports, handbooks, booklets and other content that effectively communicate the College’s news, achievements and key messages.
- Manage and maintain the College website and online presence, ensuring content, photographs, links, news and information are current, accurate, engaging and aligned with the College’s brand.
- Develop, coordinate and schedule engaging social media content that promotes the College, highlights student and staff achievements, supports key messages and strengthens engagement with the College community.
- Support the planning and promotion of College events and marketing campaigns, working collaboratively with the Events Coordinator and relevant staff, while monitoring digital performance and analytics to inform future marketing strategies.
- Provide marketing and administrative support as required, including contributing to SEO initiatives and other promotional activities, while actively embracing and representing the College’s Christian ethos.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- A marketing qualification or working towards a formal qualification.
- Two years of experience in a marketing role is desirable but not essential.
- All applicants are required to attain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance.
- You are required to provide a current Police Clearance report (no older than three months).
- You will be expected to complete a Child Safety course as part of the induction process.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia.
