Providence Christian College is a Co-educational, non-denominational K-12 College with around 1100 students in Southern River, WA.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following short-term, full-time position (1.0 FTE) to commence in January 2025:
Student Services Officer (Maternity Cover)
Short-Term Contract: 13th of January 2025 – 10th of October 2025
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and committed people-person with a deep affinity for children of all ages to fill this position.

- You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values.
- You are deeply relational, friendly and open.
- You have a current Working with Children Check card.
- You have sound literacy, numeracy skills as well as Computer Literacy.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be used effectively with staff, students and parents.
- You are passionate about ensuring that our students are always well looked after.
- You are able to work with composure under pressure.
- You have demonstrated planning, organisational and time-management skills.
- You have relevant First Aid qualifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the TASS Database would be advantageous but not essential
Applicants will be required to:
- Manage the attendance and absentee database.
- Provide First-Aid to students.
- Maintain student and family records.
- Provide Administrative support.
- Embrace and represent the Christian ethos of the College.
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment in working with children of all ages.
The specific areas of responsibility are outlined in the attached Job Description.
Additional Requirements:
- All applicants are required to attain and maintain Working with Children Check clearance.
- A Current Police Clearance Report.
- You will be expected to complete a Child Safety course as part of the induction process if you have not already done so.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
