About Us
Penrith Christian School is a co-educational, independent Christian school for students from Early Learning to Year 12. We are a well-established and vibrant community for over 800 students located in Orchard Hills at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Orchard Hills. Our motto of Strive for the Highest informs our practice and aspirations for our students. About the Role
As a key senior leader within the School, you will be integral in supporting and inspiring colleagues and engaging with parents and the wider community to actively promote a culture of care and excellence. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management and oversight in alignment with the school’s strategic plan, vision and mission.
About You
You will be an experienced and dedicated leader who is committed to your own personal and professional growth. You will continue to seek out opportunities to learn from and network with colleagues in other independent schools and have a vision for excellence in all that you do that inspires others. You will be highly relational and understand the importance of a strong and positive Christian culture, able to apply this to your leadership of a collaborative and supportive whole-school team.
Qualifications
You will ideally have post-graduate qualifications in Education or Educational Leadership (or similar) or be prepared to pursue studies by mutual negotiation.

• that they are a committed Christian and a member of a church community.
• an educational philosophy that shows a deep understanding of the value of Christian education and of teaching and learning within a Biblical Worldview.
• a capacity to think strategically, driving innovation and excellence in operational, educational and pastoral programs.
• a strong commitment to both the learning and wellbeing of students, supported by our ‘Great Learning, Well People’ Framework.
• experience in senior leadership roles in a school setting with a proven ability to guide, mentor and build the capacity of colleagues.
• excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to building strong community with students, parents/carers, colleagues and the wider community.
