Penrith Christian School is a well-established and vibrant Christian community, providing an exciting and innovative learning environment for over 800 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12 in Orchard Hills, at the foothills of the Blue Mountains.

About the Position
Due to growth within the school, we are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate for this full time position to join a dedicated team whose collective desire is to make Science real and accessible to their students. The successful candidate will be a dynamic educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church. As part of a cohesive team, you will be committed to articulate the vision for strengthening and building upon a strong foundation in line with the school’s learning framework. In a key area of learning where innovation and real-world application is important, we would expect you to be aware of and able to integrate emerging technologies and trends to give our students the competitive edge needed to engage in their post school world.
About You
With the ability to drive and facilitate a deep love of learning in students, your Christian faith will be evident in your ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into every learning experience. You will have a clear understanding of differentiated learning and assessment, catering for the individual needs of all students. Along with NESA accreditation and a current Working with Children Check you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- recent experience, particularly in Stages 4 and 5 (Stage 6 desirable)
- collaborative, innovative and effective practice
- highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents
- a demonstrated capacity to work and contribute as a member of a curriculum team
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment
- commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
- excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms
